HOME!
I made it home with only one minor meltdown in Penn station. The train was great. Rangie is very happy to see us again. He keeps mewing, “Maaama”- for real, he talks.
I’m picking up Blue before I drop the kids off at school. The house is not the same with out that lazy beagle!

A few months ago hub & his friend went to see DBT. They got a hotel for the night because it was a few hours from where we live. The day after they returned his friend called me up wondering how I can sleep in the same room with him because of his snoring.He suggested I make up my own bedroom. Today is our last day here. NOOOOO! I didn’t get to see/do half of the things I wanted. Time flies. My body feels like I’ve been through a war. I work out daily but I guess I’ve been using leg muscles that I don’t normally use. (make sense?) Also carrying around my big luggy purse that holds the kitchen sink puts a strain on the old bod.

NYC
I’m here! It was a 7 hr train ride that was very enjoyable. Lots of leg space, reclining seats and very quiet. Train etiquette is very different. It felt very community. Everyone sitting together…. eating, talking.When I got out of Penn station, I was in complete shock. All the lights & people. It was sensory overload. Some Russian offered to give us a ride to the hotel in his van....
